Auctions
Every second month we host an online auction. We tackle issues such as the waste of Fast Fashion with a ‘Compassion for Fashion’ auction and we host a bumper hand made craft auction every November. The Auction Page also hosts pop up fundraising events during the non auction months where you will be sure to find something special on offer.
Our auction is organised through Facebook, where you can view many wonderful items that have been donated to raise funds for Saving Strays UK. Click here to visit our Facebook Auction Group. Here you can find the album (at the top of the group page) with all the lovely items. To place a bid on one of the items all you have to do is comment on the photo with your bid amount. If you are the winning bidder our volunteer who organises the auction will get in touch with you to arrange payment and postage of your items.
We are always looking for donated items for our online Auction, so if you have any new or nearly new items or you are a crafter and have home made items to donate or you would like to create items for the auction as one of our contributors, you can email us here or drop a message on the Auction Page. The funds are allocated to the different areas of our rescue efforts including food, veterinary costs, transport and boarding. Every penny raised goes towards helping stray dogs in need. Please no silk or leather items.
Donating Old Printer Cartridges
In partnership with Printer Cartridge Recycling Ltd, we have a scheme to turn your empty small inkjet cartridges, mobile phones, and surplus unused cartridges into valuable funds to help our charity. All the proceeds will go to us and we would be very grateful for any donations.

You can support us by subscribing to One Lottery. You will be in with a chance to win prizes every week and every penny goes towards helping the dogs in need in our care.
Help Saving Strays when you shop online with easyfundraising. Go to easyfundraising and sign up to earn us money with no cost to yourself.
We currently have two Amazon wish lists running which is a great way to get involved and help the dogs.
The first wish list is for Kongs and harnesses for our rescued dogs in Bosnia. We believe that harnesses are the safest and kindest way to walk a dog and your gift from these lists will help us prepare our dogs for their new homes. Also on that list is our very own Woof’s favourite treat. Woof was rescued after being tortured by dog catchers and he is now in rehabilitation here in the U.K. with our friends at Love Underdogs. We visit him regularly and he does prefer it if we arrive with his favourite treat!
Our second wish list is to help feed and provide for our 8 dogs in sanctuary in Kent with our friend Billy Thompson. All gifts from that wish list go direct to Kent and it is always a happy day when a present arrives from Amazon.
